DIFFERENT STAGES OF LEARNING

Nurturing the Seeds of Success: Our Early Years Programme

The Foundational Stage at Vrajbhoomi lay the groundwork for a child’s lifelong learning journey. Young children are naturally curious, observant, and eager to explore the world around them. At this stage, every child’s individuality, interests, and unique way of learning shape how they grow. Our programme values this individuality and creates space for children to learn through meaningful experiences, play, interaction, and discovery. With a focus on building early language, numeracy, motor skills, social awareness, emotional security, and foundational values, the Early Years Programme helps children begin their schooling with confidence and joy.

Our Early Years Pedagogy

Our teaching approach is rooted in warmth, care, and a deep understanding of young learners. Teachers guide children through play-based, activity-driven learning that nurtures curiosity, creativity, motor development, communication skills, and emotional balance. Inspired by best early childhood practices, the curriculum integrates stories, rhymes, hands-on exploration, guided play, and structured routines. This helps children develop independence, confidence, and a sense of security while progressing at their own pace.

The curriculum provides a balanced learning experience that builds a strong foundation in early literacy, numeracy, motor development, communication, creativity, and values. Children learn through stories, songs, art, conversation, pretend play, sensory activities, games, and guided exploration.

Assessing our young learners

There is no formal testing and evaluation at this stage. Rather students are observed continuously and comprehensively across the year and are assessed for the grade level development in the Gross and Fine motor skills, Language and Communicative skills, Math Readiness, Cognitive skills, Environmental Awareness, Social and Emotional skills, Psychomotor skills and Work Habits.
